TÈRMEN
SPEAK, THIS WINE
Wine, this wine, is grape, it is good and pleasing. We, the farmers of Santo Stefano, like it because it is made of sun, earth, and little else. A bit of agricultural wisdom that our grandfather set aside for us; so much passion colored by sunrises and sunsets that rise and gently stretch over our vineyards and range from east to west. And vertical hills on which, day after day, the customary ritual of life and the vine climbs and is celebrated. Tèrmen, border wine, between earth and sun. The long winter of oblivion soothes its youthful exuberance while spring awakens its aromas, when the wise sprite of life reminds us – reminds men – that it is time to revive restless spirits and infuses it with that anarchic flavor that stirs the palate and makes us say things. It is a wine with a slow pace and a long horizon, that tells stories. Do not make noise. Listen. Look your friends in the eyes and you will feel a whisper rising from the glass… Uncork and decant gently. Let it breathe for a few minutes and open your senses generously. Tiny bubbles will bloom with aromas and sensations that will speak to you of that land and that sun.
